The autobiographical piece explores Ogawa's relationship with their late father.

Aya Ogawa's The Nosebleed officially opens at Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3's Claire Tow Theater Off-Broadway August 1, after beginning performances July 16. The production is set to continue through August 28. Watch highlights from the production above.

Ogawa, a Tokyo-born playwright whose work focuses on women and non-binary perspectives, both directs and stars in the work, alongside Drae Campbell, Ashil Lee, Chris Manley, Saori Tsukada, and Kaili Y. Turner.

The autobiographical work explores the troubled relationship between Ogawa and their late father through a series of vignettes.

Ogawa's creative team includes scenic and costume designer Jian Jung, lighting designer Jeanette Oi-Suk Yew, and sound designer Megumi Katayama. Leah V. Pye is stage manager.
