And that means 2025 is a momentous year for the New York theatrical institution. The company will celebrate its 40th anniversary—and current Artistic Director André Bishop will step down at the end of the season, capping off a 33-year tenure (Lear deBessonet will succeed Bishop next year).

Celebrate those 40 years with a special look back at LCT's history, featuring remarks and anecdotes from Susan Stroman, Patti LuPone, Gabby Beans, Bishop, and more; and seldom-seen clips from a host of LCT productions including War Horse, The Light in the Piazza, and Contact.

The company is currently presenting Katori Hall's The Blood Quilt in the Newhouse Theater through December 29, and will give a Broadway debut to Adam Guettel and Tina Landau's Floyd Collins starring Jeremy Jordan beginning March 27, 2025.
