Industry News Irish Repertory Theatre Holds Paul McCartney-Inspired Gala June 12

Titled All My Loving: The Lyrics of Paul McCartney, the evening will feature performances from Amber Gray, Michael Cerveris, and Melissa Errico.

Off-Broadway's Irish Repertory Theatre holds its annual gala June 12, titled All My Loving: The Lyrics of Paul McCartney for this year's iteration. The concert begins at 7 PM at The Town Hall with a line-up of Broadway talent including Amber Gray, Michael Cerveris, and Melissa Errico.

They are joined by Peter Gallagher, Kathryn Gallagher, Kylie Kuioka, and Ciarán Sheehan under the direction of Charlotte Moore. John Bell directs the chorus and a full orchestra, which is accompanying the featured performers.

The event honors Simon Lorne, Vice Chairman and Chief Legal Officer of Millennium Management who has also served on the Irish Rep Board for 10 years. Lorne receives Irish Rep's Visionary Leadership Award.

Poet Paul Muldoon edited the recent publication The Lyrics of Paul McCartney which inspired the evening. Muldoon is introducing the songs, including “All My Loving,” “Hey Jude,” “Let It Be,” “Penny Lane,” “Blackbird,” “Give Ireland Back to the Irish,” “The Long and Winding Road,” “Yellow Submarine,” “Yesterday,” “With a Little Help from My Friends,” and more.

Following the concert is a dinner at Bryant Park Grill.
