Four-time Tony nominee Judy Kuhn (Fun Home) and Adam Chanler-Berat (Amélie) will host Rhinebeck Writers Retreat's annual fundraising gala November 18 at Chelsea Table + Stage.
Titled Songs of Our Summer From Rhinebeck to Chelsea, the gala will include a concert of selections from new musicals developed at the retreat. Performers will be announced at a later date. The gala will also feature cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and a silent auction.
Created in 2011, Rhinebeck Writers Retreat provides week-long residencies for musical theatre writers to focus solely on writing their musicals in the Hudson Valley. Operation Mincemeat, which was developed by David Cumming, Felix Hagan, Natasha Hodgson, and Zoë Roberts at the retreat, will open on Broadway in 2025.
The early bird price for the gala is $450 through November 4. There are discounts for guests under 40, and VIP packages available. Gala tickets can be purchased at RhinebeckWriters.org.
