The New York City Gay Men’s Chorus, which is currently celebrating its 45th Sapphire Anniversary Season, will present its 25th Silver Anniversary Gala March 31, 2025. The annual benefit, entitled Harmony, will be held in the Edison Ballroom at Hotel Edison.

The evening will honor Seth Rudestky and James Wesley Jackson with the Arts in Action Award, given to artists who found success in their field and then used that success to inspire change, usually in the LGBTQ  community and beyond. Kelsey Louie will be presented with the Gary Miller Award, named for the first conductor of the chorus, and honoring those whose work has created lasting, measurable, and sustainable change in the LGBTQ+ community. Additional honorees will be announced at a later date.

The upcoming gala will begin at 6:30 PM with an open bar, followed by a three-course dinner and entertainment with performances from the New York City Gay Men's Chorus, Youth Pride Chorus, and Broadway artists to be announced.

Rudestky and Wesley Jackson created Your Kids, Our Kids, with a focus on children's support. They have expanded to create additional projects, including Broadway for Orlando, Concert for America, and the variety streaming series Stars in the House, which has raised over million dollars for the Entertainment Community Fund.

Louie has nearly 20 years in non-profit healthcare and youth support, including seven years as CEO of GMHC and currently CEO of The Door/Broome Street Academy, supporting youth to become successful in school, work, and life.

The New York City Gay Men’s Chorus continues  its mission to entertain, educate, and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. With over 260 members, NYCGMC performs through the boroughs of New York City and beyond. The Youth Pride Chorus continues to empower youth ages 13-21 and reaches out to the local school community.
