Film & TV News Museum of the Moving Image to Celebrate the Tony Awards With Collection of Broadway-Muppet Crossovers

A Henson Broadway Tribute will feature appearances from Tony winners Joel Grey, Pearl Bailey, Liza Minnelli, and more.

The Museum of the Moving Image has announced A Henson Broadway Tribute in celebration of the 2022 Tony Awards, set for June 12 at Radio City Music Hall. Hosted by Jim Henson Legacy President Craig Shemin, the tribute will offer a retrospective of The Muppets' greatest moments with such musical theatre greats as Julie Andrews, Joel Grey, Carol Channing, Pearl Bailey, Ethel Merman, Ben Vereen, Bernadette Peters, Valerie Harper, and Liza Minnelli.

The 80-minute screening, free for MoMI members and otherwise ranging from $9-$15, will be shown June 4 at 1 PM and June 10 at 2:30 PM.
