The Donmar Warehouse production of Lucas Hnath's A Doll's House, Part 2 officially opens June 16. Previews for the U.K. premiere began June 10, and the run is scheduled to continue through August 6.
Starring in the production as previously announced are Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Olivier winner Noma Dumezweni as Nora, Patricia Allison as Emmy, Tony nominee Brían F. O'Byrne as Torvald, and June Watson as Anne Marie.
Hnath's play picks up 15 years after Ibsen's original play. Nora has slammed the door on her marriage to pursue her own happiness and livelihood. Now, she returns to face the family she left behind—for reasons unknown to those she walked away from.

James Macdonald directs the production, which is being performed in the round. Also featured on the creative team are designer Rae Smith, and lighting designer Asuza Ono.
Hnath's play made its Broadway premiere under the direction of Tony winner Sam Gold in 2017. The play, which served as Hnath's Broadway debut, was commissioned by South Coast Repertory.
