Join us in shaping the future of The Reveler’s Hour! We're looking for passionate, creative, and driven individuals to help us build a board of directors that will make an impact in our community. If you believe in the power of the arts and want to help steer our nonprofit theater to new heights, we want to hear from you. Together, we can make magic happen.

We are currently looking for board members to take on these specific cabinet positions:

Treasurer:

  • Monitoring the organization’s current and future financial health by reviewing all chairs' operating budgets and making changes when necessary.

  • Defining and following all financial deadlines and responsibilities.

  • Establish and distribute the organization’s financial policies and procedures.

  • Develop financial goals with the organization’s mission statement in mind.

  • Identify and manage risk within the organization's finances.

  • Work directly with the Secretary to safeguard the organization’s assets, data, and sensitive information.

  • Working directly with the Social and Marketing Chairs to help produce fundraisers for the organization.

Secretary:

  • Being proactive in collaborating with board members to set up meetings, give proper notice of any meetings, and promptly distribute materials such as agendas/minutes for the meetings.

  • Prioritizing tasks to help the board members and board president remain productive.

  • Maintaining accurate, concise, and transparent records of all critical documents, including but not limited to; taking minutes at the meetings, any legal documents, copies of bylaws and mission statements, contracts for Board Members and performers, etc.

  • Helping to schedule regular board meetings.

  • Ensuring all contact information for the Board is up to date.

  • Holding all board members accountable and following up with each board member to ensure they are fulfilling their duties to the best of their abilities.

  • Helping to orient new board members by showing them previous documentation of what their role entails.

We are currently looking for board members who can lead the following committees:

Marketing:

  • Work with various chairs to assist them in marketing their areas of responsibility/looking for ways to communicate the organization’s information to the community at large.

  • Directing the marketing activities of the organization and ensuring to keep the Board President informed on a regular basis.

  • Coordinating with the Social Chair and Treasurer to produce fundraisers for the organization.

  • Evaluate the social media landscape and decide what platforms will be good tools for the organization.

  • Develop and implement strategies to use new media in promoting and presenting the organization.

  • Creating and maintaining a budget for the respective needs of your chair.

  • Doing donor research and maintaining lists of our donors.

  • Upholding the Anti-Harassment Policy established below.

  • Chairing your respective committee.

  • Any other duties as may, from time to time, be determined by the Advisory Board that falls under your role.
