Broadway’s Lindsey Brett Carothers (Bring It On, Wicked on tour) will debut her new one woman show The Voice Within at The Duplex August 7 at 9:30 PM. The evening will feature a mix of laughs, songs and stories from her life.
“This isn’t your average ‘I was born and raised’ cabaret,” state production notes. “Lindsey gets hired to make people laugh, and so that's exactly what she's gonna do for you. Besides, if Lindsey isn't spending her time making people laugh... she's not positive she exists, but she's curious to find out what it feels like to do something serious maybe once, too.”
Written and performed by Carothers, the show is directed by Marshall Pailet with music direction by Andrea Grody. Straight playwright Drew Fornarola and Madame Mathieu Productions will produce.
