In time for this holiday season, the new single is available now on streaming platforms.

Just in time for the holiday season, composer Jaime Lozano has released a new holiday song, "Go Tell the Reyes." The Mexican-themed Christmas song is performed by his wife Florencia Cuenca, backed by Lozano's band The Familia. The song is now available on all streaming platforms. As Lozano previously told Playbill about this song, which he performed live last year at Lincoln Center, "I have always had trouble finding contemporary Mexican Christmas songs. I know in other places, there is a huge tradition of new music and songs for the holidays. But in Mexico, we have been listening to the same songs over and over for many years. I am so blessed to have my Familia always supporting me. One of my writing partners, my brother Georgie Castilla, we wrote a song for Florencia that speaks about one of our Latino holiday traditions: Los Tres Reyes Magos (The Three Kings). In many cities and towns in Mexico, kids actually write letters to the Three Kings and not to Santa. This is a song that embraces being an immigrant in a new country, in a new city, missing your family, and holding those traditions close."

Jaime Lozano is a Jonathan Larson Grant recipient. His project “Jaime Lozano & The Familia” has performed sold out concerts at Joe’s Pub, 54 Below, The Green Room 42, Two River Theater, and Lincoln Center’s American Songbook Series. His albums Jaime Lozano and the Familia: Songs by an Immigrant and Songs by an Immigrant Vol. 2. are now available. Songs by an Immigrant Vol. 3 is forthcoming.
