Manhattan Theatre Club's Broadway production of Amy Herzog's Mary Jane is now available as an audiobook.
Released by Audible Originals, the recording arrives several months after the production completed its multi-extended run at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre June 30. The play follows a single mother raising an ill child and the female support system that surrounds her. The work premiered at Yale Repertory Theatre in 2017, coming to Off-Broadway's New York Theatre Workshop later the same year.
McAdams made a Tony-nominated Broadway debut in the title role, sharing the stage with Wehle as Ruthie and Tenkei, Matthis as Sherry and Dr. Toros, Pourfar as Brianne and Chaya, and Santiago as Amelia and Kat.
The Broadway bow earned four 2024 Tony Award nominations, including nods for Best Play, Best Direction of a Play (Kauffman), and Best Leading Actress in a Play (McAdams).
