Merrily We Roll Along star Lindsay Mendez announced her engagement to actor and entrepreneur J. Alex Brinson Christmas Day.
Tony winner Mendez shared the news in an Instagram post, featuring festive holiday photos of Mendez and Brinson sitting in front of a cozy fireplace with her engagement ring in full view.
Brinson starred on the television show All Rise alongside Mendez. Brinson has also previously appeared onscreen in The X Files, Supernatural, and the Netflix series Travelers. In addition to Brinson's film and television career, he is also an entrepreneur, and the CEO, writer, and producer of Think Brinson Entertainment, LLC.
Mendez, currently playing Mary in the Broadway revival of Merrily We Roll Along alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Jonathan Groff at the Hudson, has previously starred in Wicked, Significant Other, Grease, Everyday Rapture, and Dogfight.
Mendez won her Tony in 2018 for her performance in the revival of Carousel.
