A Tony nominee for her performance in A Day in the Death of Joe Egg, Izzard was also seen on Broadway in Race.

Hamlet, starring Tony nominee Eddie Izzard, officially opened February 11, and the reviews are rolling in. Izzard began performances as 23 characters in a solo version of William Shakespeare's Hamlet January 25, with performances expected to continue through March 3 at Off-Broadway's Greenwich House Theater.

The six-week engagement is directed by Selena Cadell. Mark Izzard penned the adaptation of the Shakespeare classic. The two also worked with Eddie Izzard on a solo version of Charles Dickens' Great Expectations last season.
