Off-Broadway’s Lighthouse: An Immersive Drinking Musical has found its cast for its Off-Broadway premiere, set to open at the SoHo Playhouse July 7 and play through August 12. Written and composed by Emmy winner Jacki Thrapp, the Irish American musical had a sold-out run at Edinburgh Fringe in 2022.

Thrapp and Bobby Allan will reprise their roles, joined for the Off-Broadway run by Sid Parker, Kat Nardizzi, Jessie Carina Lanza, and Luke Sikora. Featured in the ensemble will be Marisha Ruth, who will also serve as dance captain, Gabriel Generally, Lauren Gamiel, and Miles Mandwelle.

The show pays tribute to alcohol, and the role it played in creating connections during the COVID-19 pandemic. Pouring out free shots for all legal-drinking adults in the audience, the musical comedy follows the journey of female bar owner Sid Parker as she tries to keep her business afloat during COVID-19. Lighthouse was inspired by the bars that remained open in NYC, including the iconic Bar Nine.

Georgia Warner (All My Sons) will direct the run with 2009 World Champion of Irish Dance Michael Putman Michael Putman choreographing. The work features additional material by composer Billy Recce, who will serve as music director and music supervisor. Orchestrations are by Reece and Niall Vallely. The musical features a slate of original drinking songs, as well as Irish step dancing numbers.

Lighthouse: An Immersive Drinking Musical is presented by Thrapp Theatrics, and produced by Jacki Thrapp, Caitlin McNeilage, Joe DeAngelis, and Kevin Ellis.
