Edinburgh Fringe sell-out hit Lighthouse: An Immersive Drinking Musical will make its Off-Broadway debut at Soho Playhouse this summer. The production will begin performances July 7, to run through August 12.
Written and composed by Emmy winner Jacki Thrapp, the Irish American musical features additional material by composer Billy Recce. The show pays tribute to alcohol, and the role it played in connection through the COVID-19 pandemic, inspired by the bars that remained open in NYC, including the iconic Bar Nine.
Returning cast members will include Jacki Thrapp and Bobby Allan. The musical will be directed by Georgia Warner, choreographed by Michael Putman, feature music direction and music supervision by Billy Recce, and orchestrations by Niall Vallely and Billy Recce.
