Lesley Nicol's How the Hell Did I Get Here?, which made its New York premiere at The Club Car at The McKittrick Hotel April 20, has announced an extension through May 22, after which it will embark on a national tour.

Directed by Luke Kernaghan, Nicol takes audiences from childhood to working actor to silver screen star with 10 original songs by composer and writer Mark Mueller, who accompanies on piano. The production, with a book and music by Nicol and Mueller, also features scenic design by Anshuman Bhatia, lighting design by Lucrecia Briceno, and sound design by Ray Nardelli.

Nicol, well known for playing Downton Abbey's Mrs. Patmore, is a stage veteran. She began her career in musicals as in the original West End production of Jesus Christ Superstar before going on to perform in many stage and screen productions. Mueller has written chart-topping pop songs, in addition to being a two-time Emmy nominee for Outstanding Achievement in Music and Lyrics.

For those wishing to indulge, an exclusive pre-show high tea service will be offered featuring teas, cakes, and finger sandwiches prepared by Executive Chef Pascal Le Seac'H. Additional reservations for high tea are required.
