The Los Angeles production of Lin Manuel-Miranda's Pulitzer- and Tony Award–winning musical Hamilton, which began resumed performances August 17, 2021, concluded its engagement at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre March 20.
The closing cast includes Rubén J. Carbajal as John Laurens and Phillip Hamilton, Nicholas Christopher as Aaron Burr, Joanna A. Jones as Eliza Hamilton, Taylor Iman Jones as Peggy Schuyler and Maria Reynolds, Carvens Lissaint as George Washington, Simon Longnight as Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson, Rory O'Malley as King George III, Sabrina Sloan as Angelica Schuyler, Ebrin R. Stanley as Hercules Mulligan and James Madison, and Jamael Westman as Alexander Hamilton. Tré Frazier and Vincent Jamal Hooper were standbys for Alexander Hamilton.
The ensemble comprises of Sam Aberman, Gerald Avery, Remmie Bourgeois, Trey Curtis, John Michael Fiumara, Aaron Alexander Gordon, Sabrina Imamura, Carina-Kay Louchiey, Neptune, Candace Quarrels, Terrance Spencer, and Morgan Anita Wood. Cameron Burke, Jared Howelton, Yvette Lu, Mallory Michaellann, Amanda Braun, and Antuan Magic Raimone round out the company as swings, with Yossi Chaikin as swing and co-dance captain.
Hamilton features a book, music, and lyrics by Miranda, and is directed by Thomas Kail with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler. The production has set design by David Korins, costumes by Paul Tazewell, lighting by Howell Binkley, sound design by Nevin Steinberg, and hair and wig design by Charles G. LaPointe.
The show is currently playing on Broadway and in London's West End, and in Melbourne, Australia.
