Jessica Vosk—recently seen as Jenna in the Muny production of Waitress and Cee Cee in Theatre Calgary's Beaches—will join Broadway's Hell's Kitchen as Jersey beginning December 12 at the Shubert Theatre.

Vosk will succeed original cast member and fellow Wicked alum Shoshana Bean, whose final performance is December 1. As previously announced, standby (and also Wicked alum) Donna Vivino is performing the role in the interim, departing the production December 11 after being with the musical since its Off-Broadway world premiere at the Public Theater.

Hell's Kitchen features music and lyrics by Alicia Keys and a book by Kristoffer Diaz. Inspired by the 15-time Grammy winner's life, the story centers on 17-year-old Ali and her mother, sharing a cramped apartment near Times Square. Ali wants to live out her NYC dream, but Mom is scared her daughter will repeat her own mistakes.

The work officially opened at the Shubert Theatre April 20 after beginning previews March 28—read the reviews here. Michael Greif directs the musical, which features choreography by Camille A. Brown.

The cast stars Tony winner Maleah Joi Moon as Ali, Brandon Victor Dixon (Hamilton) as Davis, Tony winner Kecia Lewis (Ain't Misbehavin') as Miss Liza Jane, and Chris Lee (Hamilton) as Knuck until October 20, after which Phillip Johnson Richardson will play the role.

The company also includes Chad Carstarphen, Reid Clarke, Chloe Davis, Nico Dejesus, Timothy L. Edwards, Desmond Sean Ellington, Badia Farha, Vanessa Ferguson, Gianna Harris, Jakeim Hart, Takia Hopson, Eliazar Jimenez, Jackie Leon, Raechelle Manalo, Jade Milan, Onyxx Noel, Susan Oliveras, Sarah Parker, Aaron Nicholas Patterson, William Roberson, Niki Saludez, Nyseli Vega, Donna Vivino, Lamont Walker II, Rema Webb, and Oscar Whitney Jr. Casting is by Heidi Griffiths and Kate Murray.
