Lourds Lane's musical SuperYou came to London's Lyric Theatre November 15, following a developmental production of the musical in Milwaukee. See photos from the staged concert performances below.

The rock musical follows the journey of a comic book artist who discovers self-love and confidence through her superheroine characters. Originally slated for an Off-Broadway premiere that didn't come to fruition due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the musical pioneered other ways to find its audience during the Broadway shutdown, performing concerts in upstate New York on socially distanced pick-up trucks at a drive-in. SuperYou went viral and gained a cult following online, which led to a sold-out Carnegie Hall concert in July 2022.

The West End concert production starred Lucie Jones (Wicked, Les Misérables) as Katie, Lane as Rise, Luke Brady (The Prince of Egypt) as Jay, Jenny O’Leary (Heathers) as Ima-Mazing, Sharon Ballard (Mother Goose) as Blast, Joni Ayton-Kent (Carousel) as Seven, Aaliyah Monk (School of Rock) as Young Katie, Jonty Peach (Romeo) as Matty, Maddy Brennan (My Fair Lady, Cabaret, Oklahoma!) as Mom, and Will Bozier (Wicked, Moulin Rouge!) as Mi-Roar.
