Video Watch Joy: Christmas With the Tabernacle Choir, Featuring Aladdin's Michael Maliakel

The PBS holiday special also includes an appearance by Downton Abbey's Lesley Nicol.

Michael Maliakel, who made his Broadway debut in the title role of the long-running Disney hit Aladdin, is part of Joy: Christmas With the Tabernacle Choir, which premiered on PBS earlier this month and can be viewed in its entirety in the video above.

Filmed before a live audience at the Conference Center in Salt Lake City, the evening features classic and popular Christmas music and a true story about French novelist, poet, and dramatist Victor Hugo at Christmastime narrated by Downton Abbey's Lesley Nicol.

Maliakel wraps his rich tenor around such holiday tunes as "I Wonder as I Wander," "It's Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas," and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas."
