PBS’ Civil War-set drama series Mercy Street brings in some Broadway talent for its second season. See two-time Tony Award winner Brían F. O'Byrne, Tony winner Patina Miller and Tony nominee Bryce Pinkham in their new character portraits below.

O’Bryrne (Doubt) plays Allan Pinkerton, head of the Union Intelligence Service. Miller (Pippin) plays Charlotte Jenkins, a former slave who escaped to freedom in the North. Pinkham (A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder) plays Maj. Clayton McBurney III, boss of the Union Army hospital in occupied Virginia, where the show is set.

The series debuted in January. The six-episode second season will debut January 22, 2017.
