Holiday Coverage 31 Days of Holiday Cheer: Patrick Page Presents a (Playfully) Dramatic Reading of 'I Have a Little Dreidel'

Tune in every day this month as we share holiday music videos from our favorite Broadway stars, as well as a few new original videos.

Every day this December, Playbill will be getting into the spirit of the season with 31 Days of Holiday Cheer—sharing some of our favorite music videos from Broadway stars. Check in daily for classic tunes and new songs about Christmas, Hanukkah, and New Year's. And we even have some surprise new, original Playbill videos to share.

For our next Hanukkah candle lighting, we present super-serious, Tony-nominated actor Patrick Page with a dramatic reading of the 1920s children's tune "I Have a Little Dreidel." Perhaps even more intense than Page's furrowed brow and booming bass voice, is the strident piano accompaniment by Joshua Stephen Kartes.

Page and Kartes performed the number in 2019 at one of Ben Cameron's Broadway Sessions cabarets at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. Check it out in the video above.

See Page in his solo show, All The Devils Are Here: How Shakespeare Invented The Villain, which was recently extended through February 25 at Off-Broadway's Daryl Roth Theatre.
