ABOUT THIS JOB:
Join Got Light, a premier event production company, and play a critical role in managing inventory for our cutting-edge lighting, audio, video, drape, fabrication, electronics, and other production equipment. This position is essential to ensuring our warehouse operates efficiently and supports the high-caliber events we’re known for.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Immaculate upkeep of the company’s inventory in a 32,000 square foot facility.
Become fluent with over 3500 unique inventory items by name and location, and be a beacon of knowledge concerning those items.
Conduct & manage quarterly, yearly and spot inventory hand counts and adjustments.
Forecasting, tracking and replenishment of production supplies and expendables such as (gel, gaff tape, zip ties, and other warehouse/production related items). Monitor, track, and schedule repairs & maintenance for production equipment, making sure all gear is event-ready and safe to operate.
Lead overall warehouse organization, including storage solutions, labeling, and shelving optimization
Ensure equipment is functioning, well organized and ready to support event productions and the goals of the business.
Advise employees on best practices for the care and preservation of inventory, including handling, storing, and shipping equipment.
Examine records and recommend actions for reported non-usable, slow moving, and excess/obsolete stock.
Troubleshoot issues with processes, procedures, equipment, and spatial layouts to optimize efficiency.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Industry Knowledge: Theatrical lighting or event production experience is strongly preferred.
Warehouse Expertise: Background in inventory operations, warehouse management, or similar roles.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with inventory management and/or database software.
Analytical Ability: Experience analyzing data, interpreting inventory trends, and forecasting.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities for equipment, processes, and procedures.
Technical Repairs: Experience with electrical repairs, soldering, and maintaining production equipment preferred.
Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Communication: Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Team-Oriented: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and team-driven.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
Ability to push/pull/lift up to 60 pounds.
Ability to work in an environment that may be noisy, unheated, and not air conditioned.
Engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists.
SCHEDULE:
Full Time Exempt
In person work
Regular schedule Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, with occasional nights or weekends (for off-hour inventory purposes).
COMPENSATION:
$68,640/per year
