Role breakdown below:
Paul
Paul is 16 years old (played by an older actor). He is secretly gay and frustrated by his unrequited love for a boy named Dargelos. Paul and his older sister Elisabeth largely raised themselves and are emotionally co-dependent. They have many games and rituals. They love each other but also spend most of their time trying to win the games.
Elisabeth
Elisabeth is 18 years old (played by an actor 18 or older). She wants only to live with Paul in the world they've created together. She and Paul largely raised themselves and are emotionally co-dependent. They have many games and rituals. They love each other but also spend most of their time trying to win the games.
Gerard
Gerard, 14 years old (played by an older actor), is an innocent who admires Paul and loves Elisabeth. He wears his heart on his sleeve and yearns for acceptance. His unrequited love for Elisabeth and imagined friendship with Paul blinds him to the abuse Paul and Elisabeth inflict on him.
Agatha
Agatha, 14 years old (played by an older actor), thinks of Elisabeth as her older sister and is in love with Paul. She is an orphan who finds sanctuary in Paul and Elisabeth and delights in their games, even if she is sometimes caught in the crossfire of their cruelty.
