What Hogwarts House would Bernadette Peters be in? What about Patti LuPone? The current leads of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway, Joel Meyers and Erik Christopher Peterson, have an opinion. See them sort the divas of Broadway, and answer questions about the long-running Broadway play in the video above, while putting together a 2,600-piece Hogwarts Lego set.
Now you might be thinking: Harry Potter and Legos? That seems forced. But actually, when we approached Meyers and Peterson with this idea, they weren't just game, they were excited. "I have lots of Harry Potter Legos, as we do to this day in our dressing room," says Peterson. The actor, who plays Scorpius in the show, actually started his run in Harry Potter on the same day as Meyers, his co-star. Meyers plays Albus, the son of Harry Potter and best friend of Scorpius in the show.
In fact, during the video shoot, you can see their chemistry as they took turns building the Lego set and answering questions. Since the two of them were distracted, Playbill tried to see if we could get some behind-the-scenes gossip about the production. See if we were successful in our quest, and if Meyers and Peterson managed to finish building that Lego set, in the video above.
