Michael James Scott, Adi Roy, and members of the Broadway and North American touring companies of Aladdin spread some holiday cheer at ABC's Disney Christmas Celebration with a performance of "Friend Like Me."

Held at the Magic Kingdom Park of Orlando's Disney World, the festive event also included floats featuring Disney characters, marching bands, stars of the stage and screen, and more. The event is now available for streaming on Hulu and Disney+.
Aladdin will celebrate its 10th anniversary at Broadway's New Amsterdam Theatre in spring 2024. The production opened March 20, 2014, after beginning previews February 26 with music by Alan Menken, a book by Chad Beguelin, and lyrics by Menken, Beguelin, and Tim Rice.
The current Broadway cast features Michael Maliakel as Aladdin, Scott as the Genie, Sonya Balsara as Jasmine, and Dennis Stowe as Jafar. Roy leads the North American touring company in the title role.
