The Verdict: What Did Critics Think of Pulitzer Finalist Marjorie Prime? | Playbill

Playbill Universe The Verdict: What Did Critics Think of Pulitzer Finalist Marjorie Prime? The Playwrights Horizons production of 2015 Pulitzer Prize finalist Marjorie Prime, by Jordan Harrison, officially opened Dec. 14 with a cast led by two-time Tony nominee Lois Smith.

Set in the age of artificial intelligence, Smith plays an elderly woman who spends much of her time with a handsome robot, programmed to feed her past back to her. The play, directed by Obie winner Anne Kauffman, is an exploration of human identity, memory and the limits of what technology can replace.

The critics are filing their reviews, and Playbill.com will continue to update them for our readers.
