According to The Public Theater's website, performances of Shaina Taub's Suffs world premiere have now been cancelled through May 25. Performances are currently scheduled to continue through May 29 as set forth by the show's previously announced third extension.

The show, which began cancelling performances May 14, has faced difficulties with COVID throughout its run. Previews began March 13, which were interrupted as company members tested positive. Ultimately, Suffs' opening night performance was cancelled, though it still officially opened April 6.

Taub shines a light on the forgotten women of the American women's suffrage movement. Suffs follows their victories as well as their failures in working against the divides and oppression they faced in the years leading up to the passing of the 19th Amendment.
