Running through Oct. 11, A Little Night Music is directed by Huntington artistic director Peter DuBois.
Hadyn Gwynne, who earned an Olivier Award for her performance in the original London production of Billy Elliot, stars as Desiree Armfeldt. Joining her are Bogardus (Man of La Mancha, Falsettos) as Fredrik Egerman, Molina (Rock of Ages, Sweeney Todd, The Skivvies) as Charlotte Malcolm, Bobbie Steinbach as Madame Armfeldt, Mike McGowan as Count Carl-Magnus Malcolm, Morgan Kirner as Anne Egerman, McCaela Donovan as Petra, Pablo Torres as Henrik and Lauren Weintraub Fredrika Armfeldt.
{image-1} Completing the cast are Amy Barker as Mrs. Anderson, Wendi Bergamini as Mrs. Nordstrom, Aimee Doherty as Mrs. Segstorm, Drew O’Shanick as Mr. Lindquist, Nick Sulfaro as Mr. Erlanson and Sam Simahk as Frid, along with Sarah Oakes Muirhead, Patrick Varner and Cailin Doran.
Inspired by the Ingmar Bergman film "Smiles of a Summer Night," the musical features a book by Wheeler, a score by Sondheim and orchestrations by Jonathan Tunick.
The production has music direction by Jonathan Mastro, choreography by Daniel Pelzig, scenic design by Derrick McLane, costumes by Robert Morgan, lighting design by Jeff Croiter and sound design by Jon Weston.
