The Public Theater celebrated the official opening of Jordan E. Cooper's Ain't No Mo', directed by Stevie Walker-Webb, March 27. Using a series of vignettes, the new play is a satirical odyssey portraying the departure of Black Americans from the country.
The cast of the world premiere is made up of Cooper, who plays Peaches, as well as Marchánt Davis, Fedna Jacquet, Crystal Lucas-Perry, Ebony Marshall-Oliver, and Simone Recasner. Hermon Whaley Jr. is the standby for Peaches and performs Sunday matinees.

The new play features scenic design by Kimie Nishikawa, costume design by Montana Levi Blanco, lighting design by Adam Honoré, sound design by Emily Auciello, and hair, wig, and make-up design by Cookie Jordan.
