After seven years of sold-out cruises as part of Broadway on the High Seas, Playbill sought to create an even more intimate experience with its first-ever river cruise in May 2017.
Aboard the luxurious S.S. Catherine, guests and top Broadway talent sailed the picturesque Rhône River Valley—and begged for more. With a sold-out upcoming cruise to Iceland in July 2018 and a fast-selling cruise to the Greek Isles in 2019, Playbill listened to our globetrotting Broadway fans and now offer Broadway on the Rhône River 2 in April 2019.
Sailing France’s Rhône River April 7–14, 2019, the cruise will visit Tarascon, Avignon, Viviers, Tournon, Tain L’Hermitage, Mâcon, and Lyon on this unparalleled adventure. By day, passengers will have the opportunity to explore the stunning countryside and rich culture of the area—from Roman monuments to medieval cities to wine-themed excursions and golf retreats.
The 159-passenger ship hosts some of the most spectacular food and wine, signatures of the region. Guests will enjoy Epicurean dinners hosted by a special onboard culinary expert. But, of course, the main attraction is our lineup of stars.
