New 42 hosted their annual gala June 3 at the Plaza Hotel. This year's event honored the Times Square Alliance and its president, Tom Harris, as well as Rennie Harris, choreographer and founder of Rennie Harris Puremovement. See photos from the gala below.
The evening was hosted by Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell and included performances from Aisha Jackson, Jacob Gutierrez, Nic Rouleau, 2023-2024 National Youth Poet Laureate of the United States Salome Agbaroji, The Voice season 14 winner Brynn Cartelli and the NYPD Band Vocalists, and the Ladies of Hip-Hop Dance Collective.

The event raised a total of $1.3 million to support New 42's programming. The Marian Heiskell Award was presented to the Times Square Alliance and Tom Harris for their dedication to keeping Times Square safe and clean, and the New Victory Arts Award was presented to Rennie Harris for his contributions as a choreographer and hip-hop ambassador.
New 42 also announced the addition of Tony winner Laura Benanti and Saturday Night Live alum Rachel Dratch to the company's Artist Council.
