London musical Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York) releases an eight-track EP album February 21. The new musical officially opened its London premiere at the Kiln Theatre November 16, 2023, and ran through January 20. A West End transfer is on the horizon.

Directed by Tim Jackson and written by Jim Barne and Kit Buchan, the critically acclaimed production will begin its West End run at the Criterion Theatre April 4, continuing through July 14.

Two Strangers follows naïve but upbeat Brit Dougal, who is flying to New York for the wedding of his estranged father. Waiting for him at the airport is Robin, a native New Yorker who is the sister of the bride.

The premiere cast included Dujonna Gift (Hamilton) as Robin, and Olivier winner Sam Tutty (Dear Evan Hansen) as Dougal. Gift and Tutty are both featured on the EP album.

The production featured designs by Soutra Gilmour, lighting design by Jack Knowles, sound design by Tony Gayle, musical direction by Sean Green, orchestrations by Lux Pyramid, casting by Julia Horan, and voice and dialect coaching by Daniele Lydon.
