Lucie Jones (Wicked, Les Misérables) will lead a staged concert of Lourds Lane's musical SuperYou at London's Lyric Theatre November 15. The rock musical follows the journey of a comic book artist who discovers self-love and confidence through her superheroine characters.

SuperYou features a book, music, lyrics, and arrangements by Lane, direction and choreography by JoAnn M. Hunter, and music supervision and arrangements by Wendy Bobbitt Cavett. Additional casting will be announced.

The musical was originally slated for an Off-Broadway premiere, which didn't come to fruition due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. The musical pioneered other ways to find its audience during the Broadway shutdown,  performing concerts in upstate New York on socially distanced pick-up trucks at a drive-in. SuperYou went viral, and gained a cult following online, which led to a sold-out Carnegie Hall concert in July 2022.

The upcoming concert will also have projection design by Caite Hevner, lighting design by Charlie Morgan Jones, sound design by Justin Teasdale, and casting by Pearson Casting.

SuperYou is produced by Melissa M. Jones and All Awesome with general management by Anthology Theatre Productions.
