News Julie White to Drive Down Broadway Highway; Rest of Cast Confirmed Tony-winner Julie White (Little Dog Laughed) has joined the cast of the Chicago hit Airline Highway for its Broadway transfer this spring.

Among her many TV and film roles, White is perhaps best known for playing Nadine, the kooky neighbor in the sitcom "Grace Under Fire". Her most recent Broadway appearance came in 2013 when she replaced Sigourney Weaver in Vany and Sonia and Masha and Spike.

Tony nominee K. Todd Freeman and other members of the Chicago company will again be featured in the play by Lisa D’Amour (a Pulitzer finalist for Detroit) set in the world of New Orleans burlesque. The cast includes Carolyn Braver, Scott Jaeck, Ken Marks, Caroline Neff, Tim Edward Rhoze, Judith Roberts and Joe Tippett, plus the newly announced Todd d'Amour, Shannon Eagen, Venida Evans, Joe Forbrich, Leslie Hendrix, Sekou Laidlow and Toni Martin.

The Steppenwolf Theatre production is being presented on Broadway by the Manhattan Theatre Club at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre, with direction by Joe Mantello (Take Me Out, Assassins).

More casting will be announced in the weeks to come.

The limited engagement of Airline Highway is scheduled to begin previews April 1 and open April 23.

The creative team includes Scott Pask (scenic design), David Zinn (costume design), Japhy Weideman (lighting design), and Fitz Patton (original music and sound design).
