According to producers, ticket buyers can access same-day lottery tickets via the Telecharge Daily Lottery or the show's Fan Program. Available performances will be posted at sylvialottery.com and sylvialottery.socialtoaster.com by 12:01 AM on the day of the performance. Info on the number of tickets available will also be stated. Annaleigh Ashford, who stars in the title role as the show's lovable pooch, is joined by Matthew Broderick as Sylvia's owner, who is going through a midlife crisis. The cast also stars Tony winner Julie White as Broderick's wife and Robert Sella in a variety of roles, both male and female.

Sylvia, according to press notes, is about "what happens when a smart, sassy, captivating canine befriends a New Yorker in Central Park and changes his life—and his wife’s life—forever. This wonderful look into the complexities of love and commitment asks what it truly means to be devoted to your partner…and how do you choose between the love of your life and man’s best friend?"
The production has scenic design by Tony Award nominee David Rockwell, costume design by Academy Award winner Ann Roth, lighting design by Tony Award nominee Japhy Weideman, sound design by Peter Fitzgerald and music by Greg Pliska with wig and makeup design by Campbell Young Associates. The original 1995 production starred Parker (as Sylvia), Blythe Danner and Charles Kimbrough, and ran 167 performances at Manhattan Theatre Club's Stage I.
