Olivier winner Jonathan Bailey (CompanyBridgerton, Cock), Emmy nominee Matt Bomer (The Normal Heart, The Boys in the Band), and Allison Williams (Get Out, Girls, Peter Pan Live) will star in the new limited series Fellow Travelers for Showtime.

Created by Oscar nominee Ron Nyswaner (Philadelphia), the eight-episode series is executive-produced by Bomer and Nyswaner with Robbie Rogers. Daniel Minahan will executive produce and direct the first two episodes; Fremantle co-produces with Showtime.

Based on the novel by Thomas Mallon, Fellow Travelers chronicles the four-decade, volatile romance of two men who meet in the shadow of McCarthy-era Washington: Hawkins Fuller (Bomer), who avoids emotional entanglements, and Fordham University graduate Tim Laughlin (Bailey), who is brimming with idealism and religious faith.

Filming will begin later this month in Toronto.
