The St. Louis Muny summer season concludes with Meet Me in St. Louis, which begins performances August 4. Directed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge and choreographed by Josh Walden with music direction by Charlie Alterman, performances are scheduled through August 12 at the outdoor venue.

The cast is headed by Tony nominee Erin Dilly (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, A Christmas Story) and real-life husband Stephen R. Buntrock (A Little Night Music, Beauty and the Beast) as Anna and Alonso Smith.

The couple is joined by Ken Page as Grandpa Prophater, Kathy Fitzgerald as Katie, Emily Walton as Esther Smith, Liana Hunt as Rose Smith, Dan DeLuca as John Truitt, Jonathan Burke as Lon Smith, Elena Adams as Tootie Smith, and Elle Wesley as Agnes Smith.

The ensemble includes Akilah Ayanna, Michael Baxter, Leah Berry, Shawn Bowers, Michael Burrell, Emma Gassett, Berklea Going, Madison Johnson, Jeff Jordan, Halle Morse, Ben Nordstrom, Commodore C. Primous III, Payton Pritchett, Cooper Stanton, Julia Paige Thorn, and Nathaniel J. Washington with the Muny Kid and Teen youth ensembles.

The production also has scenic design by Michael Schweikardt, costume design by Tristan Raines, lighting design by Rob Denton, sound design by John Shivers and David Patridge, video design by Matthew Young, and wig design by Leah J. Loukas, with production stage manager J. Jason Daunter.

Meet Me in St. Louis, with songs by Hugh Martin and Ralph Blane and a book by Hugh Wheeler, is based on The Kensington Stories by Sally Benson and the MGM movie musical Meet Me in St. Louis. This production features a new book revised by Gordon Greenberg.

The musical is set in the summer of 1903, as the Smiths eagerly await the grand opening of the 1904 World’s Fair.
