The Education Theatre Foundation is partnering with the Situation Project to send high school students to see Broadway shows. The initiative is kicking off by underwriting tickets for high school students from NYC and New Jersey to see Broadway's current revival of Purlie Victorious.
The program is part of a re-launch for the philanthropic group, which was celebrated December 5 at an NYC party hosted by ETF Trustee Brisa Carleton. On hand for the event were producers Neil Meron and Jeffrey Richards, How to Dance in Ohio composer Jacob Yandura, and theatre advocates and luminaries Ryan Stana, Paul Canaan, Greg Nobile, Julie Boardman, Matt Britten, and Richard Ridge.
The evening featured a performance from ETF Grace Kelly Scholarship recipients Zalah Vallien and Nicholas Wilkingson II.
