The Theatre Royal Bath production of Arthur Miller’s A View From the Bridge, starring BAFTA winner Dominic West (The Wire, The Crown, The Affair), Olivier and Tony nominee Kate Fleetwood (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Macbeth, London Road) and BAFTA winner Callum Scott Howells (It’s A Sin, Cabaret), begins performances in London's West End May 23.
The production plays Theatre Royal Haymarket through August 3. The West End run follows an already sold-out engagement at Theatre Royal Bath, which ran from February 16 to March 16.
The cast also features Olivier and Tony Award nominee Kate Fleetwood (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Macbeth) and BAFTA Cymru Award winner Callum Scott Howells (It’s A Sin, Cabaret) plus Nia Towle (The Ocean at the End of the Lane), Martin Marquez (Hotel Babylon), Pierro Niel-Mee (Slow Horses), Jimmy Gladdon (The Score), Michael Cusick (Noises Off), Rob Pomfret (A Voyage Round My Father), and Santino Smith (Sadie).
Arthur Miller’s A View From the Bridge tells the story of Brooklyn laborer and family man Eddie Carbone, whose possessive love of his niece prompts the destruction of his world and ideals. The Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright is one of the most highly regarded playwrights of the 20th Century.
Presented by Theatre Royal Bath Productions, with Len Blavatnik and Danny Cohen for Access Entertainment, A View from the Bridge is directed by Lindsay Posner, designed by Peter McKintosh, and features lighting design by Paul Pyant.
