Dom Giovanni

Dom Giovanni (White Christmas) will join the company of Naked Boys Singing! in its upcoming Off-Broadway return. Performances begin March 18 at the AMT Theater.

The campy musical revue "celebrates the male form with a lot of laughs and no costuming." The 60-minute show features songs such as “The Bliss of a Briss” and culinary-inspired pun “I Beat My Meat."

Giovanni shared that “If you would have told me 15 years ago when I first saw NBS that I’d be in the reopening, I would never have believed you. It always seemed to me that this show was only for 'hot' boys. I’m here to show my own hotness and my talent. All bodies are beautiful and sexy and I’m excited to celebrate that with this show.”

He joins a previously announced company that will include David Hernandez, Jaden Lux, and Gregory Sullivan.

Naked Boys Singing! was penned by Robert Schrock and a team of 12 writers, including Stephen Bates, Marie Cain, Perry Hart, Shelly Markham, Jim Morgan, David Pevsner, Rayme Sciaroni, Mark Savage, Ben Schaechter, Trance Thompson, Mark Winkler, and Bruce Vilanch.

Naked Boys Singing! originally opened July 22, 1999, at the Actors Playhouse and ended its lengthy run in 2012 after 3,069 performances at various venues around the city, including Theatre 4, The John Houseman Theater, the 47th Street Theatre, and the Julia Miles Theatre. The musical recently played a Las Vegas residency starring Hernandez (American Idol) and was adapted for the silver screen in 2007.
