The Off-Broadway premiere of 44 Lights: The Musical—featuring a book, music, and lyrics by Tim Tuttle—will play 10 performances at Off-Broadway's AMT Theater May 15-25.

Directed by Nancy Robillard, with music direction by Rich Lamb, the cast will feature Tuttle as well as Alison Delaney, Constance Hastie, Carol Jacobanis, Marcus Lorenzo, Erin Morris, Ben Mowrer, Rich Orlow, Amar Srivastava, and Lindsay Wheeler.

The actors will be backed by Rich Lamb on keyboards, Don Kelly on percussion, Matt Scharfglass on bass, and Ted Stafford on guitars.

Tuttle knew over 30 friends, neighbors, and former co-workers, who didn’t come home September 11, 2001. 44 Lights takes the audience from the most beautiful day of the year, into the depths of disaster, and ultimately towards the restorative brilliance of catharsis.

"We need to honor the fallen not just by remembering them, but by living a life that makes them proud,” says Tuttle in a statement. “They are frozen in time. We must do something positive with our extra moments, the time granted to us.”

The production features lighting design by John Burkland, sound design and music arrangements by Elisabeth Weidner, and projection design by Michael D’Angora, who general manages with Tom D'Angora. The executive producer is Amar Srivastava.
