Dan Lauria's Just Another Day officially opens its Off-Broadway premiere May 12 after beginning previews 3, playing Theater555 through June 30.

Just Another Day previously premiered in 2023 at Shadowlands Stages in Ellenville, New York; and at Great Barrington Public Theater in Great Barrington, Massachusetts.

Directed by Eric Krebs, the Off-Broadway premiere stars Lauria (Lombardi, The Wonder Years, A Christmas Story) and Patty McCormack (The Bad Seed, Morning’s at Seven).

In Just Another Day, a comedy writer and a poet in their 70s meet daily on a park bench, all the while trying to figure out how they came to know each other.

"Each time I read Just Another Day, I marvel at the sweetness, the comedy, the intellect, and the understanding of old age that Dan Lauria has captured in this play," stated Krebs in a previous statement. "It is a joyous and deeply moving love story of the complex nature of aging."

The creative team includes lighting designer Joan Racho-Jansen, costume designer Bettina Bierly, production stage manager Bruce Connelly, and assistant stage manager Ylfa Edlestein.
