News Christopher Fitzgerald and Michael Urie Head Cast of All-Male Sondheim Musical Performances begin Nov. 14 for New Jersey's Two River Theater's all-male production of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, the Tony Award-winning musical farce written by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.

Jessica Stone, who directed an acclaimed all-male production at Williamstown in 2010, again directs with choreography by Denis Jones and musical direction by Gary Adler.

Opening night in Two River’s Rechnitz Theater, 21 Bridge Avenue, is scheduled for Nov. 20 at 8 PM; performances continue through Dec. 13.

The cast is led by two-time Tony Award nominee Christopher Fitzgerald as Pseudolus and Drama Desk Award winner Michael Urie as Hysterium. Also featured are Paul Castree, Eddie Cooper, Tom Deckman, Kevin Isola, David Josefsberg, Max Kumangai, Graham Rowat, Manny Stark, Bobby Conte Thornton and David Turner.

The creative team includes scenic designer Alexander Dodge, costume designer Clint Ramos, lighting designers Jeff Croiter and Jake DeGroot and sound designer Drew Levy. The projection designer is Aaron Rhyne, the orchestrator is Joshua Clayton, and the hair and makeup designer is David Bova. The casting is by Adam Caldwell, and the production stage manager is Libby Unsworth.
