Billy Stritch hosts Debby Boone, La Tanya Hall, Nicholas King and Gabrielle Stravelli in Witchcraft: The Jazz Magic of Cy Coleman, March 19-21 as part of the 92nd Street Y's 2016 Lyrics & Lyricists season.

The five concerts salute the jazz chops of Broadway's multiple Tony Award-winning composer who wrote Barnum, Sweet Charity, The Will Rogers Follies, City of Angels and other shows.

In addition to his Broadway work, Coleman wrote pop standards made famous by such singers as Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and Nat King Cole, and partnered with lyricists like Carolyn Leigh, Dorothy Fields and Peggy Lee. It's this side of Coleman's career that the concert series celebrates. Stritch serves as host, director, co-writer, pianist and singer, with a script co-written by Coleman biographer Andy Propst.

Lyrics & Lyricists shows are Saturday at 8 PM, Sunday at 2 and 7 PM, and Monday at 2 and 7:30 PM. Tickets start at $58 and can be ordered via phone at (212) 415-5500 or online at 92Y.org/Lyrics.

Celebrate the songs, the songwriters and their larger-than-life leading lady with Tony Award-winning music director Ted Sperling.

I Have Confidence: Rodgers After Hammerstein
May 21-23
Ted Chapin and Bill Rudman, Co-Artistic Directors & Hosts
Rodgers and...Sondheim? Harnick? Charnin? Late in life, Richard Rodgers, one of Broadway’s greatest composers, partnered with an amazing array of talent. See video interviews, hear unearthed writings and delve deep inside these rich collaborations, with R&H authority Ted Chapin and SiriusXM host Bill Rudman.
