Christine Andreas, known for her Tony-nominated turns in Oklahoma! and On Your Toes, will release an album of music from her latest cabaret show, Piaf: No Regrets, November 9.

Backed by a 36-piece orchestra, the PS Classics album captures Andreas’ performances of such Piaf songs as "La Vie en rose," “Hymne à l'amour,” “Autumn Leaves,” and “Non, je ne regrette rien,” sung in both French and English.

In anticipation of the album’s November release, Andreas is set to perform Piaf: No Regrets at London’s Pheasantry with two remaining shows October 12–13 at 8:30 PM. New York dates will follow November 8–10 at 7 PM at Feinstein’s/54 Below. Tickets are now on sale.

“Edith Piaf is one persistent life force…and not knowing where that force is currently residing, I am stating here and now...Piaf is haunting, or downright stalking me!” Andreas said in a statement. “I think she wanted her record to be set straight. Piaf did her own PR, she promoted a lot of ‘fake news.’ I tell a truer, more humanizing story. She was a great soul. Yes, she had a crazy life, but she lived the life she wanted, fueled by her boundless joie de vivre. Her credo, the most important thing in life is a resilient heart. The people who knew her, her closest friends, spoke of her warmth, her continual laughter, her generosity and capacity for friendship, how she vibrated to the music, and her biggest love affair was with the audience.”

Andreas has also appeared on Broadway in The Scarlet Pimpernel, My Fair Lady, and La Cage aux Folles. Her recordings include Love is Good, The Carlyle Set, Here’s to the Ladies, and Café Society, which have been performed at Feinstein’s/54 Below, the Café Carlyle, and the Oak Room.

Piaf: No Regrets is now available now for pre-order on Amazon and at PSClassics. The album marks Andreas' fifth release on the PS Classics label.
