The Tony-winning musical continues at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.

Aaron Tveit returned to Broadway's Moulin Rouge! The Musical, reprising the role of Christian that he created to Tony-winning effect, January 17 for a 12-week limited engagement at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.

The company also currently features Eric Anderson as Harold Zidler, Tony and Olivier nominee Sahr Ngaujah as Toulouse-Lautrec, Dylan Paul as The Duke of Monroth, Caleb Marshall-Villarreal as Santiago, and Jessica Lee Goldyn as Nini. Oyoyo Joi is the Satine Alternate. 

The ensemble includes Jacqueline B. Arnold, Tasia Jungbauer, Jeigh Madjus, Sarah Bowden, Maya Bowles, Cameron Burke, Lauren Celentano, Patrick Clanton, Raúl Contreras, Kevin Curtis, Bobby Daye, Mia DeWeese, Tilly Evans-Krueger, Taurean Everett, Aaron C. Finley, Alexander Gil Cruz, Lauren E.J. Hamilton, Stephen Hernandez, Bahiyah Hibah, Kara Menendez, Kaitlin Mesh, Kelsey Orem, Clay Rice-Thomson, Arianna Rosario, Julius Anthony Rubio, Brandon Stonestreet, Alec Varcas, and Cole Wachman. 

David Harris succeeds Paul beginning February 5. Tveit will be followed by the return of Tony nominee Derek Klena April 11.

Check Out New Photos of Aaron Tveit and Ashley Loren in Broadway's Moulin Rouge! The Musical

Moulin Rouge!, based on the 2001 film, opened on Broadway in 2019 following a Boston tryout. The musical was subsequently nominated for 14 2020 Tony Awards, winning 10, including Best Musical. 

The production is directed by Alex Timbers with a book by John Logan (based on the Baz Luhrmann-directed movie of the same name) and choreography by Sonya Tayeh. The score features covers of "Fireworks" by Katy Perry, "Your Song" by Elton John, and "Chandelier" by Sia, among many others. The story takes place at Paris' famed Moulin Rouge and follows the tragic love story between performer Satine and composer Christian.

The production's music team includes musical supervisor  Justin Levine, music producer Matt Stine, and music director Cian McCarthy. Orchestrations are by Levine, Stine, Katie Kresek, and Charlie Rosen, with dance arrangements by Levine and Stine.

Also on the creative team are scenic designer Derek McLane, costume designer Catherine Zuber, lighting designer Justin Townsend, sound designer Peter Hylenski, hair designer David Brian Brown, and makeup designer Sarah Cimino, with creative services by Luhrmann and Catherine Martin. Casting is by Jim Carnahan and Stephen Kopel.
