To celebrate the forthcoming National Sisters Day on August 7, the North American tour of Disney's Frozen, currently playing Dallas' Music Hall, has released new photos of Caroline Bowman and Lauren Nicole Chapman, who play sisters Elsa and Anna, respectively, in the touring production.
One of five productions of Frozen playing around the world, the tour will next play engagements in Cleveland, Durham, Pittsburgh, Tulsa, St. Louis, and San Francisco.
The cast also features F. Michael Haynie
as Olaf, Ryan McCartan as Hans, Mason Reeves as Kristoff, Jeremy Morse as Weselton, Collin Baja and Evan Strand alternating as Sven, Aria Kane as Young Anna at certain performances, Arwen Monzon-Sanders as Young Elsa at certain performances, and real-life sisters Natalie Grace Chan as Young Elsa at certain performances and Victoria Hope Chan as Young Anna at certain performances.
The ensemble includes Belinda Allyn, Caelan Creaser, Jeremy Davis, Kristen Smith Davis, Colby Dezelick, Michael Everett, Berklea Going, Natalie Goodin, Michael Allan Haggerty, Tyler Jimenez, Dustin Layton, Tatyana Lubov, Adrianna Rose Lyons, Robin Masella, Michael Milkanin, Kyle Lamar Mitchell, Tony Neidenbach, Travis Patton, Jessie Peltier, Brian Steven Shaw, Daniel Switzer, Zach Trimmer, Brit West, Natalie Wisdom, and Peli Naomi Woods.
Based on the 2013 animated Disney film, Frozen features music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez and a book by Jennifer Lee. The musical opened on Broadway in March 2018, earning Tony Award nominations for Best Musical, Best Book, and Best Original Score. The Broadway production announced in May 2020 that it would not reopen post-pandemic. The London production officially opened September 8, 2021.
Frozen is directed by Michael Grandage, with choreography by Rob Ashford, scenic and costume design by Christopher Oram, lighting design by Natasha Katz, sound design by Peter Hylenski, video design by Finn Ross, puppet design by Michael Curry, hair design by David Brian Brown, makeup design by Anne Ford-Coates, special effects design by Jeremy Chernick, and casting by The Telsey Office's Rachel Hoffman and Laura Wade.
