The View UpStairs creator Max Vernon will return to Joe’s Pub February 26 with his Existential Life Crisis Lullaby concert residency, featuring special guests Brittain Ashford (The Great Comet), Jaime Cepero (Smash), Kenita R. Miller (Once On This Island), Bonnie Milligan (Head Over Heels), and Larry Owens (A Strange Loop).
The monthly concerts will continue March 19 and April 23. All performances are at 7 PM.
Existential Life Crisis Lullaby is described as “a celebration of tattooed ladies, Korean popstars, 70's queer culture, the apocalypse, sentient robots, aging club kids, homicidal hipster cults, and ... love?” The series also features different set lists and about 300 costumes—many created by Vernon himself.
