News Broadway Is a Drag Concert, Benefiting Broadway Cares, Presented Tonight Broadway Is a Drag, an evening celebrating iconic drag roles on Broadway, is presented at Feinstein's/54 Below Jan. 4.

The 7 PM concert benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Performers are scheduled to include Alex Newell, Jaime Cepero, Chris Newcomer, Mark MacKillop, Alex Ringler and Chris Weaver, with musical direction by Adam Michael Tilford.

"Singing songs from beloved Drag and gender bending roles the evening will celebrate and showcase the characters that helped to shape the Broadway Scene and the visibility of LGBT characters on stage," according to press notes. "From groundbreaking to heartbreaking this will be an evening you won’t want to miss."
